the African Queen

In the German colony of Central Africa, in 1914, are the missionary Samuel Sayer and his sister Rose, trying to persuade the local people to accept Christianity.

War is just beginning in Europe, and Germany is preparing to fight against England. One day, the German soldiers go to the German colony in Africa, and recruit all the villagers. That night, Samuel, that was ill, dies. His sister Rose blames the Germans for his death, and she wants to take revenge for Samuel’s death and help her country to victory against Germany.

She meets the liquor drinking Charlie, and persuades him for transform his boat in a torpedo and try to destroy a German boat for obtain her revenge. They have to overcome a lot of difficulties; they have to come in German territory, go through German controls, and fight with other boats with better war equipment. Heat, malaria, bullets... and a big love story.

First, they quarrel, but the emotion of overcome the obstacles together unites them.

First published in 1935, The African queen was written by C.S. Forester, a British historical novelist, biographer, and journalist, best-known as the creator of Horatio Hornblower. Cecil Scott Forester died in 1966, and together with Patrick O'Briand and Alexander Kent he formed the writer group most acknowledge of historic sailor literature. He also spent many years writing scripts for Hollywood films.

This is his most famous novel, and the story was made into a classic film sixteen years later of its publication. It was directed by John Huston, and starring Humphrey Bogart and Katherine Hepburn. It won an Oscar to better main actor, and it got other three nominations, to the best director, to the best main actress and to the best script.

Romeo and Juliet is the story of two lovers of Verona...

Romeo is the young son of the Montague family, and Juliet the daughter of the Capulet family. But both families are enemies. Romeo and Juliet fall in love, and they have to marry in secret.

Juliet’s dad force Juliet to marry with Paris, a relative of the Prince. But she only loves Romeo and goes to ask for help to Verona’s friar.
The friar gives to Juliet a medicine that makes her seem dead, and when everybody thoughts that she's dead the friar could takes her with Romeo.
But when Romeo knows that Juliet is dead, he buys a poison and goes to the cemetery to kills himself. Juliet wakes up, sees that Romeo's dead and she kills herself with a knife.

Romeo and Juliet has been adapt lots of times for theatre, cinematographic versions, musicals, operas and comedies.

At least, twenty-four operas have been based in Romeo and Juliet.
Besides, this story has inspired to various music groups (The Supremes, Bruce Springsteen…), it has had a deep literary influence and its script is considered as the most adapted for the screen of all time.
This demonstrates the great cultural impact that this Shakespeare work has had in the society and in the literature. Together with Hamlet, Romeo and Juliet is one of the most represented works of William Shakespeare. Its adaptations have converted this work in one of the most famous and everlasting love stories.

The book was written by William Shakespeare, an English poet, dramatist and actor.
He is often called England’s national poet and the “Bard of Avon”, and Shakespeare is considered the most important writer in English language and one of the most famous of the universal literature.
Many people considered him the greatest dramatist of all time. His works are performed more often and in more nations than the works of any other writer.

Can someone decide about life and death?

The Libyan ex-agent Abdel Basser al Megrahi, convicted because of the death of 270 persons after the plain explosion in the city of Lockerbie in 1988, will be free soon after the authorities have decided it because he has a prostate cancer in terminal phase.

But the Ministry of Justice is in deliberation phase, and their decision could come this month. The protests of the victim relatives haven’t took a long time to come.

What I wonder is that if this man, that decided that he could choose when, where and how die more than 200 persons, deserves to die in liberty, where and how he decide. And the decision is in the hands of a man, that although he has studied a lot and he has a high-ranking position, he is no more than a man. I wonder if a person can really decide something so big.

But every day the persons, not only judges, decide things like that; an assassin decides the death of a person, but this is not allowed. And however it’s allowed that a judge decides if someone must be shut away all his/her life, and in some countries, if someone must die.

Is difficult to know if is fair that someone have so power in his/her hands, or if someone can study for decide the life of other people. We have decided to create rules, governments, posts with more or less importance. But is the life and the death something that a person can decide?

Release all persons that commit crimes it is not good, but can someone decide about the life of persons that are neither better nor worse, although they have done something bad?

Each one has his/her opinion about that. I know is necessary that some persons have more power that others, at least in the society that we have created, but is strange that for study more or have more money some persons have power above other completely equal to them.

A description of a person you like

I met Irache when she born. She is four years old and she will be five on 31th of January.
She has mousy hair, very straight, at shoulder level. She has a big brown eyes, very expressive, and a little turned-up noise.

When she grows up she wants to be teacher of children because she likes a lot take care of babies, although she is not much older. Sometimes she says that she wants to be veterinarian because she loves the animals, overcoat cats, and she has a dog and a rabbit, and she loves them a lot.
She has a very good friend, Daniela, and a boyfriend. His name is Christian, and he is a cute blond child. They will get married in the future, although they quarrel. But Irache don't see that like a problem, she said me: “It’s nothing, all the couples quarrel, even the parents”.

Her dad is my mother’s brother, my uncle. So, Irache is my only and little cousin.

She is a cheerful girl and she loves play to be a teacher or a mum. She is very intelligent and so smart that sometimes, when she talks, she looks like an adult! She has a good memory, she is very pigheaded and she has a strong character, she is smiling and friendly. She is a love.

I love when she calls me and says to me: “Ainho, cousin, can you come to play with me?”

80's photos

Recently, as present of end of course, my grandmother took me to “El Corte Inglés” and she bought me a reflex camera. The photography has always called my attention, but I had been thinking that I could learn more about it and that’s why I wanted a good camera. I had been looking photography webs, camera shops and camera models, and when I knew that I was going to have it, I was very happy.

When I had my new camera, I talked with a friend of my parents that knows a lot of photography and that he has a reflex camera. He lent me a books collection, a photography encyclopedia, and when I began to read the first book, I came to realize that the books were of 1984!

First, I thought that the information of the books was very antiquated and that it wasn’t going to be useful to me, but I gave an opportunity to the books and I began to read.
And although it is a long time since they were written, they are very useful; there is information about the developing, lens, extension tubes and negatives, that although it is not useful, it is interesting.

But they also talk about “how to make better photographs”, the light sources, the photographs depending on the topics (weddings, concerts, trips…), “how to use the camera”; flash, zoom, focusing, camp depth… And all that is very useful.

What I like most is the section called: “The masters work like this”, that talk about different artists of that years, about their photographs and their work techniques, like Derek Darwin, George Rodger, John Thornton, Robert Holmes, Alberto Schommer….
.

But the most interesting and curious is that the books are written as if were the 80’, and the photographs, the techniques to make it and the camera models are of that years.

Other section that has called my attention too, “The trade tricks”, tells as is a photograph with “special effects” made. When I saw for the first time these photographs, I thought: “That photograph is made by computer”. But all of these are made with manual tricks, like use airbrush or special filters; stars filters (produce the effect of light flashes when you put it in front of any luminous source), diffraction filters (produce a rainbow of colors), softening filters (blur the light and create a ethereal image), fog filters (make the scene misty), sand filters, central focus filters… But this “manual tricks” also can be simply move the camera, change the shutter speed, make photographs in certain environmental conditions, put an image on other…
The truth is that lack of editor photography programs and other advances, give space to imagination and creativity.

Urban Tribes

The urban tribes are mainly gangs or groups of young people (teenagers) who share fashions, interests, philosophies and common places. Generally, each one of these are called “tribes”, and they have their music and clothing that characterize them. Each one of them defends their ideals and objectives, and often they discriminate the other urban tribes because of their different thoughts.

The common thing between the different urban tribes is the rebelliousness and the social marginalization. They don’t like laws, the traditional things and people who force them to do “the right things”. And the other common thing is that all of them want to feel that they are not alone, and there are people like them; people with the same thoughts or likes.

The majority of the tribes share the same thought, and others share the same hobby (like skating or parkouring). And just a few share only music taste or fashion taste.

But now, the urban tribes are also a fashion. Now a lot of teenagers are only in an urban tribe to “follow fashion”. These are the most important urban tribes:

Emo. the original emo culture was born in the 80s like a music style and the word “emo” comes of “Emotional hardcore music”. Now the emo music is more commercial. Actuality, the majority of the emos are between 14 and 20, and they take care of themselves a lot. They are known becouse they have a pessimist and nonconformist mind, but there are a lot of people that are emo only because be emo is fashionable.

Gothic. the original gothic culture emerges in the United Kingdom in the 80s from the punk groups. The gothics are known because of their like for in everything related to death. They like vampires, angels, religious elements… It ss difficult to define the gothic culture, but is less commercial than the other cultures. They like the diversity, tolerance, creativity, art, intelligence…

Heavy. The heavy people share (more than the other tribes) the music and their political ideas. The heavy culture began in the beginning of the 70s and is totally against the hippy culture. The complete name is Heavy metal, from the sound of their music groups. This is the most international tribe. It is one of the urban tribes that have a lot of tradition in the Spain stage. And the majority of the lyrics songs have a meaning.

Hippie. The hippie culture is based in the liberty, the happiness and the peace. This culture was born in the 60s, to fight for the peace in Vietnam. They avoid violence and proclaim peace in the world and love, they think that everybody are equal. They don’t like politics and they have anarchic ideas. They want to live the life intensely. Actually this urban tribe is nearly finished, but their ideas are in the nowadays society.

Posh. The posh culture provably has existed since the beginning of the time. But its name has been changing: chief of the clan, feudal gentlemen and aristocrats. Now is different, but before the posh were the richest and most powerful people. Now, to be posh is fashion. The young “snobs” take care of themselves a lot, they dress very well, only with good trades of clothes. Usually, they don’t share music or likes; they share a life style and fashion. They like the internet applications too, like messenger, fotolog, facebook, myspace...

The conflict of Israel and Palestine

The origin and the development of the conflict

The beginnings of the conflict are of the colonial period and the beginning of the nationalist movements in Europe and Middle East.
Since endings of the s. XIX, in Europe, created a singular movement, the sionismo, which wants the creation of a State for the Jews dispersed of the world.
In spite of being a secular movement, the Zionism saw in Palestinian, earth where founded the Judaism, the ideal place to realize his national project. From beginnings of century, this movement caused the installation of Jewish Europeans in this territory still ottoman. This immigration increased in the British term of office between 1920 and 1948.

While other ottoman provinces made independent, the hard-fought Palestinian didn’t make it. The two national plans, the Palestinian Arab and the Zionism, clashed when the Jew immigrate community, grew and extended their properties. The Arabs saw that the Jews wanted a new State. Gradually was growing a hate between Arabs and Zionism Jews and it made that thought of a partition of the territory. Next the Second World War proposed the partition of the territory and the creation of two States, one Arab and other Jew. This plan was defeated for the Arabs because authenticated, according to them, the plans and the colonies of the Zionism people.

On 1984, the Jew community created the State of Israel, and took part in military form the neighboring Arab States supporting the Palestinians. Next this first war Arab-Israeli, the Jew State resisted the Arab intervention and caused the exit of big part of the Palestinians that were in his territory and broadened the surface of his territory further of the due in the plan of partition. Israel used the division of the Palestinian society caused of the war too. There wasn’t creation of an Arab State in Palestinian, and the city of Jerusalem was divided.

The new Jew State won power because became allies with the Europe potencies and said that Israel had to exist because there was the only safe refuge for all Jews. However, for the war, the Palestinians haven’t an own State.
They were dispersed between several countries and on 1964 were created the Organization for the Liberty of Palestine, OLP.

While Israel won power, the Palestinians organized themselves in the outward. During the years 70s and 80s, the OLP organized a State in the exile that had the international support. The OLP accepted that the Israelis had Palestine, but they demanded the national rights of the Palestinian populate: have a State and the return of the refugees.

But the OLP didn’t get anything and in the ends of 1987 the Palestinians of the interior revealed in Cisjordania and Gaza. This exposed the reality of the occupation and made that the Palestinians had international support.
On 1988 the Palestinian parliament returned to create the Palestinian State, but Israel didn’t want to change its politic.

The opinion of the Israelis

Never there has been a “Palestinian” State on Israel land. Israel hasn’t stolen impunity the land from any Arab country, State o Nation called Palestinian.

The Palestinian Arabs are largely innocent victims of their corrupt leaders, of the hate of their religion against Jews and Christians.

The Arab refugees (we now call them “Palestinians”) are used by the Arab nations like bait against Israel and other countries of Jew-Christian culture.

Israel in this moment if accepted the partition in peace of the land between Arab and Jewish, but suffered assaults that have done that it believes his actual politic of hard hand, that we don’t justify of any way, although we understand it, because all nations have right and the obligation to defend to their citizens.

And more from a so serious threat like is the religion that lets his children become explode with bombs charge killing to the possible maxim number of innocent victims.

The Jews could have closed the access to the Arabs to their Mosques of the Mount of temple, in Israeli land, but they don’t do it, while the Palestinian has exploit and defile several Jew monuments in their territories like for example the Tomb of José the patriarch.

Los hombres de Paco is a television series produced by Globomedia and by the spanish television cannel Antena 3.
The story is about the experiences of tree national polices (Paco Miranda, Lucas Fernández and Mariano Moreno) some awkward, but honest, and their personal, professional and familiar relations.

The action takes place in the Police station of San Antonio neighborhood and this series is very similar to “Charlie's Angels” or “Harreslon Mens”.

The series, aside from be the first comedy series based on the national police force, is one of the first Spanish productions that has, in some way, the known as back humor. On October 1 of 2008 issued the last chapter of the four seasons.

The creators are Daniel Écija and Álex Pina (“Los Serrano”, “Periodistas”…). This series goes one step further in the Spanish fiction, tackling the police theme in a human and comic manner.

The protagonist of the personal experiences of Los hombres de Paco is Paco Miranda (the head of the group) and his family. Paco, after loses the work in his police station so he has to live in a poorer neighborhood.
His family is make up of his wife (Lola), his mother (Concha) and his daughter (Sara). There he meets his neighbor (Bernarda) and her and his wife buy a bar just below the house of their family.

Apart from Paco, there are two other main characters.
Mariano Moreno is a divorcee, still in love in unhealthy form with his ex-wife,
and Lucas Fernández who as well as from is the ex-boyfriend of the sister in law of Paco, he and Paco’s daughter (Sara), during the series, fall in love. And in the end of the five seasons, they even get married.

Moulin Rouge is a romantic story in the bohemian’s environments of Paris, with an artistic dazzling direction and a spectacular music. This and much more is Moulin Rouge, which happens in a famous Parisian night local. It has been already shown in films so classics as Moulin Rouge (1952) by John Huston or French Cancan of Jean Renoir.

The plot is simple, but it works very well.

Christian is a young artist with talent. He wants to write a wonderful musical to be represented in the Moulin Rouge. What he didn’t take into think is to t fall in love. And he falls in love with Satine, the most beautiful dancer of the local.

Satine is used as an object of pleasure, and specifically is offered to the duke of Monroth, which should be pleased to invest the money needed to save the Moulin Rouge of the economic ruin. ¿Will the love of Christian and Satine be possible?

Although the movie is a simple story of love in which two lovers have to surpass the difficulties of the life, the director makes a spectacular film with splendid actors, wonderful choreographies and songs that accompany us throughout the film.

Finally it is an original musical drama where the director Baz Luhrman used a very careful soundtrack that honors the pop music of the twentieth century and where there are songs of John Lennon, Paul McCartney, Sting, Elton John or David Bowie. Besides, the songs are a mix of those years with the modern music. The spectator feels the same pain as the characters.

The main couple, Nicole Kidman and Ewan McGregor, especially she, is excellent, and sings and moves as the players in the musical before.

A vertiginous, romantic and surprising spectacle. A spectacular cast. An authentic feast for the senses.

Nicole Kidman: “Satine is a courtesan that works in the Moulin Rouge. She has a sordid and poor past. But she doesn’t want to be a dancer of cancan all her live, and her dream is to become an actress. She is hardened and knows to make various images of herself, and to create fantasies in her work. But when Christian radiate his magic in her with the music, makes her believe that she can have something more. He makes her believe is possible that she realize her dreams.”

Ewan McGregor: “I have not interpreted a character that has more relation with the love in my live. Christian is absolutely inspired by the love. After meet Satine, about she is the only one he speaks. There is nothing more than the love.”

William Ockham, also called Occam, was a Franciscan friar and he was born between 1280 and 1300.

Some people say that he was born in Ockham (a little town of Surrey, near East Horsley) and other people say that Ockham was his surname.

He joined the Franciscan order very young into, and he studied in Oxford.
He began to teach logic and theology in the Franciscan schools. During his years in Oxford and later on he wrote the great majority of his philosophical works.

However, his ideas and teachings were innovative and he came into conflict with the Church.

The Pope Juan XXII summoned him to Avignon in 1324 because of heresy and William was detainee four years in Avignon while his works were investigated.

William escaped from Avignon on the 26th of May of 1328 to Pisa with Miguel of Cesena and other friars.

He was the rest of his live writing about policy.

He died on 9th April 1347 in the Franciscan convent of Munich from the Black Death.

Ockham’s Razor

William Ockham created a theory, that later was designate as: Ockham’s razor. The theory is in latin: «pluralitas non est ponenda sine necessitate».

When there are several explications for some phenomenon,
you have to choose the simplest and easiest explication (although it isn’t always correct, you don’t have to create more explanations).

The Ockham’s razor is used primarily as a complement to the laws of the logic, avoiding the magical thinking. This theory has had a great importance in the development of science.

For example:

If a tree is fallen into land, it may be because lighting has fallen a or because of a secret program of weapons of the government. The simplest explanation is the most likely, but not necessarily the true, according to the principle of Occam's razor. In the case of the tree, it would be the fall of lightning.
And if you are in the city and heard gallop, is possible that it are horses or zebras, but you have to think that are horses because is the most probable choice (although it isn’t necessarily the true).

Andy Warhol

Andy Warhol (Andrew War hole) was born on 6th of August, on 1928 in Pittsburg, Pennsylvania. He studied in the Carnegie Institute of Technology, the specialty of painting and sculpture. After his graduation in 1949 he moved to New York, where he was very successful soon as adverts illustrate and graphic designer. Later he was famous of his work in painting and vanguard cinema.
He was a polemic person during his live –someone critics qualify his works like odd work- and from his death there are a lot of expositions of him, books and documentaries.

He was the most outstanding person of the pop art, and one of more influential artists of the S.XX. Is the best image of New York on 70s and 80s.
Between his first works there are the works that he makes from comics onward and his famous bottles of Coca-Cola (Green Bottles of Coca-Cola, 1962) or the sop tin plate of Campbell. His work is based on the image power and the theme is the consumption world or the communication means.
There is one thing that differentiate him of the rest of pop art artists; he work with the repetition of one image, in different formats and colors. Warhol take know images and repeat it changing.

He had collections of Marilyn Monroe, Elvis Presley, Elizabeth Taylor, Jacqueline Kennedy, Carolina Herrera…

He died on 22 th of February, on 1987, when he was 58 years old.

My Holidays

This summer I didn't go to a long tryp with my family becouse the vacances of my parents didn't coincide. This summer I met with my friends a lot, I went to the cinema, I read books...This summer I only enjoyed of my holidays and I had a rest.

We also went to Enguidanos, a little town of Cuenca. This summer I was go out with my bicycle a lot, and I went with my parents, my aunt and my parents friends to Enguidanos for a weekend for do two routes by bicycle.

We arrived to Enguidanos on Saturday, in the morning, and we did a very entertaining and long route. It was raining all the time a lot and the bicycles were covered with mud! Hardley we couldn't continued, but I had a good time, it was fun. We looked "Las Chorreras" and did 26 kilometres in total.

We arrived in the night, and we had rent an attic in a rural guest house of Enguidanos, "El Ricon de Piedra".
On the second dar, Sunday, we did other route, more long. We did a ready route, the BTT. We looked the Cabriel, Mira and San Martin rivers. This route was more long than the firts route, more or less 30 kilometres. In the track we ate blackberrys!!:D On the photo, are my dad, Pepe, and David with back tongues becouse of the backberrys xD

We came back to Valencia on sunday night, then of an exhausting weekend.
This summer also was my birthday!! Yess!!I have fourteen years!x)
On 12 of September. My birthday was very, very, fun and the presents were fantastics! For my birthday I obtained a lot of money, presents, and a fabulous day with my friends ;)

Vampires in "La Sexta"

Moonlight is the new vampire serie that succeed in La Sexta.

Mick St. John is a private investigator that work in the city of Los Angeles, and have supernaturals skills. In fact, is a vampire, and in this serie the vampires aren't like the mythical Count Dracula. The garlics don't scare them, they have got reflected in the mirrors, the stakes only paralyse them. But they are eternally youngs, have fangs, and above all, thet drink human blood. The vampires of La Sexta can smell the past, jump from incredibles altitudes or listen to 30 metres of distance.

On 1952 the destiny of Mick change forever. He worked of singer in partys, and in one of them he mets Coraline, a incredible and fascinating woman. Mick fell in love with her, and later they got married. But in the wedding night, she bited him and turn him into one of them. Coraline was a vampire.

Mick had to learn to controled his new powers and to feed oneself on blood. But he didn't want kill people, and he began to work like privated investigator for help to the people and so compensate all deaths when he was a inexperienced vampire. After a few years, a women turned to him becouse her daugther was kidnap, and the police was unable of find her. Following her trace, he found the children with Coraline, him ex wife, becouse she wanted that they created a happy family. Mick had to fight versus Coraline, for rescued Beth Turner, that has 4 years old.

Now Beth is a famous reporter for the internet channel Buzzwire, and Mick has been observing her always. The reporter cases of Beth meet with the Mick cases. They begin to work together, althought Beth don't remember anything of when she was a children and Mick salved her. Little by little, they beat the diffyculties, and althought Mick don't want stay with Beth becouse he thinks they are differents and he cause problems to her, they fall in love each other. And Mick wish to be human for stay with her.

Mick promised he never feed himself with blood of a life human, and then he goes to his friend Guillermo, a guy that works in the morgue and supply him blood in little packets. The good intencions and the moral of Mick collide constatly with the arrogant and evil character of Josef Kostan. This millionaire and egocentric vampire althought don't accept that Mick act like a atypical vampire, is him best friend.

In this serie Los Angeles is full of vampires, and they make all posible for that the humans don't discover them, even have vampires that work cleaning corpses of humans that have been killed by vampires or others vampires and the crime scene.
The serie is maked in USA and is direct by Trevor Munson and Ron Koslow (The Beauty a the Best), and is produced by Joel Silver (Veronica Mars), Ron Koslow (Bird Of Prey) and Trevor Munson. The serie is finished with only one season, and, at the moment, only have this one. But there are webs that want a second season! Here.

Mick St.John: Is interpreted by Alex O'Loughlin. He have participated in films for the cinema like "August Rush" with Robin Williams and Howard Terrance, or" Whiteout" with Kate Becksinsales. Coraline: Is intepretated by Shannyn Sossamon. She have do several tittles in the Big Screen like "40 dias y 40 noches", "La orden" and "The Holiday". Also she is knowing of her participation in TV series like "Ley y Orden" and "Dirt.

Is the ex wife of Mick. In the wedding night she turned he on vampire and, then, she kidnaped Beth Turner for have a happy family with Mick and Beth. She comes from a very old and powerfull family of vampires, is the unique woman of 7 bros. She try creat a permanent cure for the vampires with a cure that comes of her family, centurys ago.

Josef: Is interpretated by Jason Dohring. He have interpretated main characters in cinema films like "Deep Impact" or "Walking on Water". In TV, he work for the series "Veronica Mars", "Cold Case", "Juzgando a Amy" or "Baywath".

Is the vampire friend of Mick, millionaire and egocentric. Him only worry is keep in secret him indentity and of the other for that the vampires can follow enjoing of the eternal youth and their life of luxurys. The ecology is the study of the relations between the living beings and their enviroment and of the distribution and abandance of the living beings. The enviroment includes the climate and the geology, and the rest of the organisms that share that habitat.

The ecology is the biology part that study the living beings, its enviroment and the relations between they. These can be studied to many differents levels; the cells (cellular biology), individuals (zoology,botanic...), population levels, comunitys, ecosystem and the biosphere. These lasts are the ecology elements.

The ecology is the cience that use tools of other cience branchs, specially Geology, Meteorology, Geography, Phisycs, Chemistry and Mathematics.

The rest of inventigation works of the ecology are differents to the majority works in the other biology branchs becouse we use a lot the mathematic, like the Statistics and the Mathematical models.

There is a important thing that we have to consider. The dumps.

The pollutions: Dumps

The dumps are very neccesaris but, no doubt, are also a big sources of pollution. A lot of dumps aren't controls by the authority. In order to the dumps will not sources of pollution, we have to separated and recyclated the waste materials.

The dumps cause environmental pollution (air,land and water), perjudicials effects in the public health (becouse of the enviromental pollution and the posible transmission of illness of the rodents that live in it), degradation in the see enviroment, in the scenery...Besides, are a waste of energy and space that will not be recover.

In necessary understand the differences between countable and uncountable to can express right the quantity. We can divide the nouns in two groups: countable and uncountable nouns.

-Countables: are the ones nouns of things, people, etc. that we can count. For example, we can say: one book, two books, three books...So we can say "book" is cuntable.

chair, book, cat, pen, box, letter, book...

-Uncountable: is all we can't count. For example, we can't say: one rice, two rices, three rices...So we can say "rice" is uncountable.

wood, tea, wine, sugar, oxygen, advice, bread, furniture, hair, information, money, news, spaghetti, weather, rice

Besides, a lot of nouns can be countables and uncountables at once depend on the sentence where is the noun. For example:

Committee Europe

The Committee Europe is based on the idea of bringing together students of all kinds of school from as many as possible European countries for a mutual cultural exchange, to eliminate prejudices and to stabilise the idea of Europe is all of us.
This year the Committe is celebrated in Wittmund, Germany.
The countries this year go to the Committee are: Portugal, Spain, Germany, France and Denmark. The students go to houses of a german and all speak english.

Wednesday:
On 14th we went by plane to Germany. Then, we taked a train to go to Wittmund. At 8 o'clock we arrived to Wittmund, where the families were.
My german, Kirsten, lived in Leerhafe, a small town near of wittmund.

Thursday:
On 15th all students of all countries that participated in the Committee went with bus to Tour around Friesland and the north of beach.
In the evening we were with our germansand her familiesin her house. I went to a swimmingpool and I met Susana, Ana and Duala.

Friday:
On 16th we had Workshps.
Ther workshops were: Dance, Cook, Fashion and Soccer. I went to Dance with Meritxell, Susana, Renata, Ana and Alberto. We prepared a performance.
Then I went with Susana, her german and my german to Auchbith, a big town near Wittmund for buy presents for our parents.
At 7 o'clock we went to the disco in the school and then there were a fireworks, were very nice!

Saturday:
On 17th all students go to the center of the town.
There was a party for finished the Committee, but started to rain and a lot of people go to the bars. At three o'clock we went with our germans to her houses.
I prepared my suitcase becouse on sunday we went to Colonia.

Sunday:
On 18th I got up very early becouse we had to take a train to Colonia.
When we arrived to the city we went to the guest house, and I like it a lot! Is very nice!
Then, we went to see the chatedral and the chocolate museum. I bought chocolate presents
for my parents and my falimie.
We went back to the guest house and in the night we entertained a lot!

Monday:
On 19th was the last day.
We looked the inside of the chatedral and then we had free time to saw better the city and
by presents for our parents and our.
Then we clear the rooms and uor suitcases becouse this day we come back to Valencia.
I wanted stay more time in Colonia becouse I like ir very much.

The history is of a girl that she married with a boy, and she knows who is he fifteen days ago and her parents have chosen for her. She wants other boy, but he doesn't divorced from his wife to be with her.

In the history tell the preparations for the wedding, the overwhelmed father of the bride, the families of the bride and groom who will arrive from different places...

In this film there are several love stories; the girl protagonist with the married man, the relationship starting between the engaged girl and boy, the love betweena girl and boy of the two direfent families, the love between the boy preparing the wedding and the servant..

Also there is an awful secret hide the uncle who pays the wedding.

Bollywood.-

Is the comercial cinema in India, is a cultural phenomenon.
To create this word ( Bollywood) they used Hollywood and the B of Bombay.
Also there are cinema producers in other regions of this country, as the Telegu cinema: Tollywood.
A lot of this films have a simple form:
The boy meet a girl, they are in love, there are dificuld things, but later finish with a happy end for all.

The indian films ussually are very long, but isn't bored becouse have musical scenes.
In every film there are typical songs ans dances of India.
Is a tradition in the indian films rec first the scenes and next the dialogs, becouse is more easy the translation to other languages. In India it is necessary becouse in this country there are sixteen diferents languages.
In Bollywood all films have big decoration, elegant wardrove, a lot of dancers, brilliant script...
All is splendeur and big.Sometimes you don't understand the history ans only see his colour, his beautyful dances...

The production of Bollywood had increased to world level, and a lot of films like to best critics.

She was born in India on 1957. She studied in the university of Delhi and Harvard. She began as actress and after she directed winners documentary, like ''So far from India'' and ''India Cabaret''. Her first film, ''Sallaam Bombay'', winnered the Camera Dor (best first film) and the ''Prix du publique'' in the Cannes festival. Also winnered twenty-five international awards.

EASTER!

The easter is other tradicional holiday, but isn't only of Valencia, is a Spanish holidays.
In easter is tradicional the easter egg, the comets, the ''Mona de pascua''.
This year the Valencia people had doubles holidays. Fallas and Pascua were together. Other years we didn't have such luck.
As is because the Easter rabbit gave us luck...xD
In total there were fifteen days!!:D

But in this easter I didn't do any interesting. I didn't go to anywhere for vacations, I didn't eat ''Mona de pascua'', I didn't go out with the comet...
Other years I do it, but this year no.
In easter I met with my friends, I went to the cinema, I went to Valencia, I did my homework (I had a lot¬¬)...
I also read a book that I want to read since a lot of time. Dracula.

The book is counted from newspapers written and recorded by the main characters: Jonathan Harker, Mina, Lucy, doctor Seward and Van Helsing.
The book deals with the story of a vampire Count, Count Dracula, who tries to destroy the life of Jonathan Harker, the life of Lucy and Mina.
In this book the vampires are cursed.
This book and his autor are very important and Count Dracula now is very,very famous.
Is very interesting and I recommend it.

This easter I didn't do any interenting, the next year I try to do more things.:)

THE FALLAS-

In this entry I am going to talk about the Fallas and about the things that I did in that holidays.

The Fallas are the most famous and most held holidays in Valencia.

The Christmas also are very important, but Valencia is know for the Fallas.

The Fallas was a costum of the Valencia people. The people maked big bonfires where they burn all wood furniture and all wood things that are not served.

Now the Fallas are a vacances very,very populars with a lot of interesting things to do, like the ''Mascletas'', ''La Nit del Foc''....

I am not Fallera but I like a lot the Fallas. I like The Christmas very much but I like more the Fallas.

This holidays I went more or less four sometimes to center of Valencia. Also I looked and heard two Mascletas.

The ''Mascletas'' are one of important things in the Fallas. ''La Cremá'' also is very important in this holidays. The ''Mascletas'' of this year, for me, wasn't good.

Other years the ''Mascletas'' were better.

This holidays I also see ''La cremá'' of La Cañada, but I didn't like the Falla of this year.

''La Nit del Foc'' I saw only once. I was very small and I don't remember a lot as is. But I want to going to look ''La Nit del Foc'' next year, becouse my aunt said me(she see it this year) that although this year wasn't very spectacular, all was very beautyfull.
This Fallas I didn't do a lot of things, I want wath more things next year.

I don't search information in google. This is my opinion.

There are Jews and Christians by the arrival of Europeans in India, but most important religion in India is Hinduism, with 80% of the population.

Hinduism, the faith oldest in the world, is original of India. It is monotheistic but allows worship the animals. One of the sacred animals In India the cow is, nobody eats cow and the cow is a symbol of generosity.

In India the holidays are all year round, not finish never!

In January there is the festival of Harvest-the Kumbha Mela, the oldest and most important festivals, where millions people are going to bathe in the holy river Ganges.

From February to April, the feasts are Religious (gods).

In May the party is the New Year in Kerala, the Lunar New Year's Day Hindu and more shows religiosos.

En August celebrating the day of Independence and Dashehra September, the festival's best-known country fair, in November Livestock and Christmas in December.

Bollywood, the cinema in the India, is the most important of the world, the India is the country that produced more films.

PROBLEMS IN MAURITANIA:

Wages and working conditions are very bad since twenty years in Mauritania, and in the field and in the slums there is a lot of misery. With its high poverty, Mauritania is in the first ranks of the Least Developed Countries (LDCs). It tries to modernize its economy but it can't. The 90% of the Mauritanian territory is desert. For drought in recent years, the country needs food. Foreign aid is necessary for the survival of many Mauritanians.
Mauritania have a lot of trouble, is in the first ranks of the Least Developed Countries, but the most problem is the SLAVERY, after 20 years with a law in the country to ban slavery still not finish the problem.

The 2008 edition of the Lisbon-Dakar rally to be held the day 5 to 20 January has been suspended because of the terrorist threat from Al Qaeda attack any French citizen to enter into Mauritania.
So in Mauritania also there are problems with terrorists.

Mental health is facing serious problems in Mauritania.In this country only is one mental health facility for the entire country, and kg of valium for the rest.

Many children are forced to work from 10 years old or before in the agriculture, as street vendors or as domestic workers the girls. These traumatic conditions of poverty are worse for girls: they suffer FGM at birth, without being able to defend himself and there are frequent marriages, often before age 15.

Mauritania have many problems but also there are many people that try to help in this country, our country now is helping much Mauritania, with Ong like AEDM, that is finance of the Comunity of Madrid, that is for the childrens of Mauritania.

I got many friends but in this entry I only talk about three friends:
Carmen, Susana and Renata...

Carmen: she is 13 years old. She has got brown eyes, brown and straight hair. She is short. She likes play volleyball; play Nintendo DS with Mario cars. She likes sweets and candies. COMPUTER VS BOOK!!

The new technology is smashing the books, and many people thing that the young people don't read becouse us more the computers, ipod, mp4...

There are people who that what they would have to do to aficionity us to the reading is explain us the history of the all importants writers.

Others say that somebody need to know that there are young people that never will read very much. And that thay can't forcing us feel, be moved or marvel with books that other people have read and have been delighted.

But that they are bound to do is create more opportunities for that the people that don't read and they interested in books.
Many people say that the lack of the young people in the reading is of the computers, that the young people use much. They say that in this world where the power technology have overtaken the books, they can't expect that the young people don't use the new technologies more than the books.

A man say in his web page that the teachers have to be responsible that his pupils read.

He say that if the teacher isn't ingeniously, he can't entice to the young people to the reading. This man say: the young people don't buy books, but the old people gift books for their.

I think that the young people don't read less, becouse you only have to see all web pages of books, all people that create it and all people that visit this pages.

I think that the young people don't read less, I think that the young people read more.

Only you have to see all books that are created for us.

I think that if the young people don't read more is becouse we don't have time, but if we can have more time, we would read more.

MY XMAS

In this christmas only has been one different thing, the presents, and later I explain why.
The rest has been like the other christmas: Christmas Eve, New Year's Eve, be with the family...

15 of December:

This day Laura Gallego Garcia(writter of the trilogy Memories of Idhun)signed books in the City of the arts and Ciencies of Valencia. Susana and I went to she sign our books.
We went with train until Alameda and next we wolked to the City of the Arts and Ciencies for 30 minutes.
We were queuing for four hours and we had to eat at six of the evening.

But the wait was worth becouse we saw our favorite writter..xD

On Christmas Eve I had dinner with my parents, my grandmum Amparo, my aunt Ana, my oncle Vicen and my aunt Olga and my oncle Victor, that he came from Palma of Mallorca, becouse he live their, to be heir the Christmas Eve. That night I slept in my grandmum house, becouse was my oncle Victor.

On Christmas Day my parents and I ate with my oncle Victor becouse next day he went to Palma of Mallorca.

On New Year's Eve I had dinner in my grandmum Paqui. We were more people that in Christmas Eve, more or less 17.

Were all my oncles and some of my cousins, my grandparents, my parents and I.
When arrived the time of eat the grapes, we puted the TV, we saw to Roberto and Marina(Escenas de Matrimonio) and my cousins, Paula and Patricia, and I peeled the grapes, like all years.

This year we opened the presents on New Year's Day. We taked all presents of Father Christmas and The three wise men and we opened that day.

The other christmas days I did homeworks and I went to Valencia with my friends.

Kike, my father, is very tall and he has a green eyes. His hair is brown.

My father works in the PROP, is a company of the ''Generalitat Valenciana'' and my father is a security guard of this company. He works from six of the morning to two of the midday, sometimes he work until six of the evening...
He was born in Valencia, but he lives with my grandmum and my aunt in ''Palma de Mayorca'' many years.

Tachi,my mother, is a small person, unlike of my father....Her hair is black and her eyes are brown.My mother has a strong character and is a imaginative person.
She works in EMAC complements, is a company of profiles for the houses and
it's in ''Quart de Poblet''. She's the head of the section of international export.
She travel to France, Italy, Las vegas, Miami...and she sell the material of the company to other companies of these countries. She works from eight of the morning to six of the evening, but on friday she work until three of the midday...
She was born in Valencia.

Apart of my parents in my house also lives my cat and my dog, Mini and Nala.My cat is black and white, and is very sweet.
My dog is a Shepherd velga and she is mad!!Is very friendly and playful.

THE MYSTERY OF ALLEGRA..

The Mystery of Allegra is a fantasy & horror book.

The history is the memory of Adrian of twelve years ago, when he travelled on holiday with his parents to Italy. In the first evening of the trip they found the Villa Henderson and they decided to sleep that night there. In the middle of the night he found Allegra in his room, a girl with big blue eyes and cold,cold hands..Adrian was scared becouse hi didn't know who was the little girl, but then he remembered that the owner of the villa, Chiara Henderson, had a daughter.

But, if Allegra was the Chiara daughter, why Allegra said that her mother was a long way away?

In the morning he asked to Chiara of her daughter, and she introduced her daughter Allegra to Adrian, but the Chiara daughter is different from a girl he met last night! Adrian thought that Allegra was a ghost.

Adrian and his family returned to their house and Adrian didn't see again Allegra. Allegra Henderson (the Chiara gaughter,not the gost) died when she had five years and three months ago..like that Allegra the gost!was very strange..

Later he understanded the mystery of Allegra, the gost of Allegra needed found her mother and she lived and waited in the body of Allegra Henderson,and when Allegra Henderson died she had to find another child's body.

In the end of the book the last Allegra die and Adrian think who would be the next...and the next is his child..

ABOUT THE AUTHOR:

Peter FOREMAN, son of David and Leah Foreman of Cumberland County, Pennsylvania, was born in that county on May 24, 1833, and settled in Berkeley County October 10, 1865.

On February 1, 1859, he married Mary Mehafie, born June 25, 1828 in Cumberland County to John and Elizabeth (Sanderson) Mahafie.

Peter Foreman was a member of the board of education of Mill Creek district for five years and is a farmer in Darkesville, that district, Berkeley County, West Virginia.
The idea for this history came to him one weekend, when he was staying in a guest house in Tuscany.

The book like me becouse I never read horror stories and this is entertaining.

It is very interesting and very easy to read .. I liked a lot and recommend it to all who would like the scare and fantasy stories..

MY ENNIROMENT--> MY LITTLE HOUSE...

This is my little wooden house..xD..I have it in my garden next to my house. My parent buy the house two years ago, in the summer of 2005. They bougth it to me becouse I haven't a place to study and do my homeworks. My parents looked a little wooden house in a shop of thing to the garden, and we went to looked the houses, but we didn't like any. We looked for more shops of wooden houses and we found the perfect little house;)..that summer I had my LITTLE HOUSE!! My dad and I did a bed of wood in the house, later we bougth pieces of furniture to the little house and now I have this things in my little house:

I have a big table with two chairs, bed, two sofa(a big and a little), a little TV with DVD for wath films with my friends:), a little fridge for the summer, a carpet and two bookcase where I have my little library with my favourites books, also I have three bigs posters and a cork board for my photos and my horarys...The house have twenty-five square metres. It have two windows and a door,jeje..

My little house is brilliant!!!When my friends come we can do the homeworks, talk, play and someany disturb our...and is a place where I can read and study calm. I recommend to all people that can that buy a little wooden hose!!;)

*A VAMPIRES HISTORY*

For my birthday Juan (a friend of my parents, that is as a oncle for me) give me two books of a trilogy, still hasn't left on sale the third, of vampires.

The day of my birthday Juan called me and asked me if I wanted a book in special, I responded no, he asked me if I read Crepúsculo and Luna Nueva, I also responded no. I knew that he was look for a book for my birthday but I didn't say nothing, he congratulated me and he hung the telephone.
Later he came to my house with a present, I opened and I surprised becouse the covers of the books were very pretty. I thanked to he and that night I begang the book, I readed the synopsis, sayed:

>>First, Edward is a vampire.

Second, a part of he dies to drink my blood.

And third, I total and lost enamored with him>>

The synopsis was very interesant and I begang the book. At 1:30 I looked the hour, I closed the book and I slept, on the next day I had to go to the school.

In evening of the friday, next the scholl, I readed even more later, I was liking a lot the book, at the two of the night I finished the book. NEW RECORD!! 504 PAGES IN TWO NIGHTS!!xD..The book is very interesant, isn't the tipic book of vampires, the book is of a adolescent that folling in love with a vampire!!

In the morning of the saturday I begang the second book of this trilogy, Luna Nueva, his synopsis say:

Then I knew that the synopsis of the books are parts of the books..The evening saturday I went with Susana to the Park and we saw Paula and Andrea, we had dinner in the town and later went to my house. In the morning Sunday I readed and before the lunch I finished. When I went to put a entrade in the blog I tought that was better did a entrade of this books.

The two books have enchanted to me and I hope with anxiety the third, that has left on sale on 31 of october. If somebody is interested the books are Crepusculo, Luna Nueva and Eclipse, the writer is Stephenie Meyer.

FIRE IN LAS PALMAS!!

Last twenty-seven of july were a terrible fire in Las Palmas of Gran Canaria...

Seven helicopters,a hidroplain, and 200 people were reunited against the fire.

Juan Antonio Navarro Armas, the delinquent, conffesed to the Civil Guard.

3.500 areas were burned.

Three days later the fire it was controlled, they single can whait that didn't hurt air and the temperatures didn't raised more. But they didn't can extinguish the fire even two days later. This fire has caused the greater ecological disaster of histories of Las Palmas of Gran Canaria, with 3,500 burned areas. The zone of the island that are more burn is the zone of La Cruz of Santiago, between the canary municipalities of San Bartolomé de Tirajana and Mogán.
Seven helicopters and a hydroplane throughout flew on the zone Sunday, until it was made at night, and 200 working -people of medioambiente, firemen, civil defense, local police and Civil Guard- helped to extinguish the fire.

During the fire they had to evacuate to 2.200 people of the south and the southwest of the island. 1.200 people also were evacuated of contiguous municipalities to Mogán, like San Bartolomé de Tirajana. They were combat ready the Tunte towns, with 1,500 inhabitants, and Cercados of Espino and Ayaguares, with 700 people. Other people who also were necessary to evacuate by the fire were the 600 visitors of the zoological and botanical park ''Palmitos Park'' and 500 tourists Germans who were in a rural hotel of San Bartolomé de Tirajana. The four shelters that were used to protect these people are in the polideportivos of Mogán and Arguineguín, and took care of 1,050 evacuees, because many people went with relatives of other parts of the island. In these four shelters mattresses were put, and near restaurants gave food for people and sanitary personnel takes care of the wounded people.

The author of the fire, Juan Antonio Navarro Arms, confessed to the Civil Guard what happened nex day of the fire, Juan Antonio was a Forest watchman of 37 years, who lives in Tejeda, and was one of the affected by the fire, he entered in the prision last 30 of July.

I don't know as the people can make those crimes becouse the trees gime to our the live and we don't have to born, we have to take care...

The week from 17th to 21th I went to Amsterdam with my dad and my grandmum Amparo.

We went to Amsterdam becouse we wanted to visit countries with other climate and other tipe of people, also we wanted to visit countries of the nord of Europa. And we wanted go to a could place..xD!!

In the trip we were in a hotel that was in the Dam square, a important square in Amsterdam becouse have a monument in his center. In this photo we can see this monument. In the Dam square also there was hotdogs shops, persons that were doing of statues, and a lot of people..

We were five days but we visited a lot of things, now I explain the things that we visited in the trip to Amsterdam..

We visited the Central Station, the biggest station of trains of Amsterdam.

We visited the Flowers Market, the Flowers Market is very beautiful and is very big, there are a lot of flowers (coverall tulipanes), of differents colours and forms, also sell flowerpots, things of decoration and gifts of memory of amsterdam...

We visited the Canals, this is the best of Amsterdam!!A lot of people say that Amsterdam smells bad by the Canals but it is lie, the Canals are very beautiful and we visited a lot of them, but we didn't go with the boats that walk by the canals.

Also we visited the best park of Amsterdam, are very beautiful and I was surprised when I looked how are of big the park, we taked bicycles (this is typical) and we went to walk to that park, this park is Vondelpark.

And for finish we visit to tows that are near of Amsterdam, Volendam and Marken, Volendam are a fishermen town and are very beautiful, in that town we visited a chesse makes.
The second town,Marken, it is peculiar because before it was an island and soon they connected it with Volendam with a highway. We went to Marken with boat and to return we taked a bus.

The more peculiar of Amsterdam is that all people go with bicycles to all place and few people take car to go to the sites, to work they go in bicycles and parkings they are for the bicycles and no for the cars.

This this very well because the people of amsterdam contaminate less than we.

ERAGON..!!

In this entry I'm going to talk of the first book of the trilogy ''El Legado'', also I'm going to talk of the diferences of Eragon (the book) and Eragon (the film).

THE BOOK:

Eragon is the history of a fifteen years old peasant, Eragon, he lives with his oncle and his cousin, becouse his mother left there when he was a children and she went far.. A day Eragon go to hunt and he find a gem and he take it and he go to his house to sell the gem. He can't sell the gem and he guard it in his house. A night he get up becouse the gem begins to open as a egg and exit something that changes his live...
The writer is Christopher Paolini, a young writer. He writed two books of ''El Legado'' and he is working in the third book of this trilogy.

DIFERENCIES:

The first time that I wath the film I didn't read the book and I like it a lot becouse is a entertaining film and is of dragoons..xD!! Later say me that I read the book becouse is better than the film. I read the book and I look again the film and I understand becouse say me that the film is very bad...THE FILM IS WORST THAN THE BOOK!!, they change all!! :(...If you can you read the book please :p!!

IDHUN'S MEMORIES, A FANTASTIC BOOK...

Idhun's memories is the best book that I read in my live...it's a book of fantasy,adventures, love,fights...is fantastic!!!
The book have many fans and Laura Gallego (the writer) don't believe that she's so famous.
In this collection there are three books: La resistencia, Triada and Panteon.

La resistencia treats of when the protagonists are are in the Earth and in Limbhad (The house of the border), it is a house that there is between the Earth and Idhun that the exiled withars created to hide there, in the first book Jack and Victoria are friends and in the end they fall in love. Also they meet Kirtash, his enemy who later he had especial something with Victoria.
In the second book, Triada, the adventures are in Idhun and they meet new personages like for example Kimara, Quaidar, Zaisei, Gerde...
The third book, Panteon, have many romantics and dramatics moments.

THE PROTAGONISTS ARE:

JACK:
- A boy in normal appearance but that pass things with the fire. He form leaves from the resistance.
- Is carrying of Domivat, the fire sword.
- He have a emerald green eyes and in his eyed a fire flame shines...

VICTORIA:

- ''Semimaga'' and another thing that if you read the book you discover...She form leaves from the resistance.

- He is an assassin, he is son of Ashran the necromancer and is colder of the normal thing... He is enemy of the resistance.
- Is carrying of Haiass, the ice sword.
- He have a cold blue eyes, is very cold...

In summary, IDHÚNS MEMORIES IT IS A FANTASTIC BOOK, FOR ALL AGES THAT HAVE MANY FANS, AND I AM ONE OF THEM!

The interactive whiteboard is just as a digital board but in the interactive whiteboard you can write in the interactive board, it is better becouse you don't go to the computer for write and becouse if you write in the board you can wath better the students.

The interactive whiteboard have a many goods things, for exemple the interactive whiteboard help to the students are more attentived, the students take part more, the students understand better, it help to the special alumns understand better, the teacher can wath better the students...

But the interactive whiteboard also have problems, for example you need a luminous classroom, the projector and the board cost many money...

In my classroom we have a interactived whiteboard and I think that the interactive whiteboard help we to understand better the explanations of the teachers...

MADRID AND TOLEDO...

Madrid is a capital of Spain and it have got many imporatant places. We visited some for them, ''The plaza Mayor'' was built in the century XVII and there is a statue of Felipe III in the center.

This place was used for meetings or bullfightings.

''The puerta del Sol'' is the geografic center of Spain, the kilometre zero is there as well as ''The presidencia of madrid'' with its famous clock and sculture of the Bear and the Strawberry tree.

We also saw ''The paseo of Recoletos'' and ''The paseo of castellana'' with are very important of Madrid.

Also we saw ''The Retiro'', the Prado museum, ''The Cibeles''...

In Toledo we visited the Cathedral, built in the century XV, in addition we also saw ''The Sinagoga of Santa Maria'', a very beautiful building. It was built about Alfonso VIII time, it is with becouse this is the color of inocence, it was also a christian church.

Last week my class and I went to Madrid and Toledo...And this is our planing:

MONDAY: We went to Madrid by bus and we ate in route of service and in the bus we saw a film,Love actuality, I liked it.
We arrived in the afternoon, we gard our things in our bedrooms. Later we visited the Reina Sofía museum, it's the best mueum that I visit, and we visited La puerta del Sol, the kilometre zero, la puerta de Alcala and la Plaza Mayor, then we dinner in la Plaza Mayor.

TUESDAY: On tuesday we visited more importants place of Madrid, for example Cibeles(a important fount of Madrid) and we visited the Thyssen museum and we ate in Hilogui restaurant..it's very good!!!

WENDSDAY: On wendsday we went to Toledo by AVE, in Toledo we visited moore things:
The sinagoga, and we visited the streets of Toledo..Are very beautiful!!!
Toledo is a very beautiful city, streets are of stone and are very narrow...
In Toledo were a very especial shops; shops with bracelets, earrings,necklaces...of ``Oro Masquinado´´(the tipical gold of Toledo) and shops of tipical swords of Toledo, this shops were very beatiful!!I bought a earrings to my mum becouse was the Day of the Mother...

THURSDAY: That day we went to visited the Prado museum, but that museum was the worst, becouse we had problems with the security people of the museum. Later we went to visited the Recoletos, where we walked in boat...also we went to visited the Sabattini gardens and the palace where the kings live when they have visit.

I think that this trip was very enterteined thought also we learned many things ,overcoat we learned to become free when we are in the big city...

THE BATTLE OF THERMOPLILAE

THE PROBLEME OF SAHARAN PEOPLE:

The Saharan people conflict began a lot of years ago.

Between the fifties and sixties descolonization of the Sahara took place. Spain was the country with ruler in the western Sahara. After Franco's death, there was a great march, many Arabs participated in the ''Green March''. Them Spain let the country to Morrocco and Mauritania. Accordin to U.N the goverment had to make a referendum, Sahara people had to decide if they wanted to be independent. But Hassan , the Morroccan king forced the Saharan people to mobe to Refugee camps so the referendum didn't happen.

Nowadays, there is a small hope that Morrocco celebrates this referendum but the Saharan people still live in nowhere.

This is the reason why we are colleecting basic foods such as oil, sugar and rice for the Saharan people.

THE FALLAS: 3rd February,2007

The fallas is a celebration that is celebrate in Valencia, in the fallas the people do dolls of paper for burn them later.

Initially the fallas was that the people throwed them old things to the bonfire that they did, later this turned in a celebration and the people did dolls of paper that represented his live and his rutines.

THE CRIDÀ: It is the oficial beggining of the celebration.

THE PLANTÀ: The artist fallero with the fallera comission finish mounting the monument and adorn it for the juror.

THE DESPERTÀ: The falleros throw petards at eight o'clock for get up the people.

THE MASCLETÀ: The phirothecnics throw a lot petards of differents colors and formes.

THE OFFERING OF FLOWERS: The falleras and falleros take flowers for the model of the virgin.

THE CREMÀ: It is when the monument that so much to side of doing burns.

WILLIAM SHAKESPEARE: Second February, 2007

He was born in Stratford-Upon Avon in 1564. We don't know a lot about hes childhood.

He got married to Ann Hathaway when he was 18 years old and they had 3 children. Some years later he went to London. There he started to write theatre plays. He wrote tragedies, comedies and poetry.

He wrote some famous plays, for example Romeo and Juliet, Antonio and Cleopatra, King Lear, Hamlet, Macbeth...but also wrote some good comedies.He also worked as an actor in the Glove Theatre. He died in in 1616.

NORTHANGER ABBEY:

-Write by Jane Austen.

-Illustrated by Alexy Pendle.

-This book is good, I like it. It is very interesant and romantic.

What I had changed is to describe more the main character of the book and wath Mrs Allen isn't so boring.

If I were the main character, Catherine Morland, I wouldn't fall in love with Henry Tilney becouse he is very cheeky fellow with her and I wouldn't trust is Isabella Thorpe.

What I the most in the book is the part when Catherine goes to Northenger Abbey and where Catherine goes with Mr and Mrs Allen to Lower Rooms and Catherine dances with Henry Tilney.

I recommend the book to people who has patience becouse in some parts there are many descripeian the sites and the book in long in this parts but the others parts the book is very etertaimy.

THE GREEN HOUSE EFFECT...

The green house effect is a very important problem. It is caused by the pollution that we produced. In addition, the global warming effects all the planet; animals, plants and people.

The temperature of the Earth is changing all the tim. Pollution is so high and the goverments don't loof for solutions or control factories smokes.

Consecuences are several such as; hotter summers, changing of the weather, some animals in danger of extintion, increasing of see level...

If we want to stop the greenhouse effect, we should start to recycle all the rubbish, look after the forest, control the gas emission and respect our nature.

I think that politicians have to comply with the Kyoto protocole, if we don't care the enviroment, we will destroy oul planet.

BOMB OF BARAJAS AEROPORT:

Three weeks ago, a bomb exploted in the aeroport of Barajas, Madrid. It was in the new car park and it killed two people. They werw sleeping in their cars and didn't hear the bomb warning.

Now the goverment has stopped the dialoge with E.T.A.

I think that goverment musn't dialoge with E.T.A. up to they stopp kill more people, E.T.A. sayed that they don't wanted kill any people, but they kill two people.

I think that E.T.A. can't dialoge with the goverment if they don't put somethink of their part.

If the two politicians, PSOE and PP, talk together and fight together they have more for fight to dialoge with E.T.A.

THE MONONOKE PRINCES:

This film is directed by Hayao Miyazaki, he directed ``El viaje de chihiro´´ and ``El castillo ambulante´´. It is a cartoon film.

This film is about the prince Ashitaka who is hurt by a great wilde boar. He has to look for help to destroy his curse. He travels to the forest but in the way he rescues two men and take them to their town. There he meets Lady Eboshi. She is the boos ofan iron foundry and is in war with animals of the forest. Ashitaka falls in love with the princes mononoke, a young girl who lives with the wolves. They will fight together to save the forest.

I think the message of the film is ``people can live in pace with the nature and at the same time they can use technology´´

CHRISTMAS IN DIFFERENT COUNTRIES:

In Germany, the day of after the dinner of Christmas Eve, the children wait for the presents. When a small bell sounds the children go under the tree becouse they find them presents, but ... they don't open the presents until they don't sing the Christmas carol by night of Peace.

In Belgium they go out to skate the day of Christmas after the typical familiar food. The family puts the skates and they skate for the frozen rivers. Saint Nicholas, visits on December 4 the children of the city to give that they have been good.

In Italy last night of the year,it is typical to eat a plate of lentils before going to the party in discotheques. They give to the women a red linen for to be lucky in the new year. In Rome and Naples, at 12 o'clock they thorw the old utensils to be lucky in the new year.
